Insulating glass units (IGU’s) are manufactured from two sheets of glass normally between 3mm to 10mm thick which are bonded together at the edges with a hermetic sealing system.

The glass types used include ordinary annealed glass or safety glass including tempered (toughened) or laminated.

IGU’s can incorporate two pieces of glass of similar thickness or include glasses of differing thicknesses and types to meet with different performance requirements
